| Kemble Airport is approx 70 miles
west of London, about 15 miles NW of Swindon, just to the
SW of Cirencester (Gloucestershire), and is right on the edge
of the Cotswolds. Kemble is the former home of the Red Arrows
and is a typically impressive former military airfield. Hunters,
Gnats and Jet Provost fast jets are still flown regularly
from Kemble. For the latest news and more information about
the facilities available visit

Please note:
Restrictions were placed on access to Kemble Airport during
2007. Access is now ONLY through the North Gate. You can no
longer gain access via South Gate Main Entrance.
From the East (London, M25 etc)
Do not exit at M4 junction 15 as it is easy to get lost and
is no faster this way.
Please take the M4 to junction 17, and then follow the A429
north towards Cirencester. After Malmesbury and Crudwell,
you will see Kemble Airport on the left-hand side, however,
you will not be able to gain access from
this road. Continue on A429 towards Cirencester, past Kemble
Airport, and you will come to Kemble village. Just before
the pedestrian crossing traffic lights, turn left. Follow
under the bridge to the end of the road. At the T-junction
turn left onto the Tetbury road - A433. After about 3/4 mile,
you will approach a right hand bend with a small country road
turning off to the left (signposted Kemble Airport). Turn
into this road and drive to the very end (chain-link fencing
in front of you) and you will see the entrance gate to the
airport on your right. The large metal gates will be closed.
Please drive up close to the gate whereby the security camera
will record you car details and open the gates automatically.
Follow the directions From the Airport North Gate
below.
From the West or South West
Take the M4 to Junction 17 and follow the directions above.
From the North
There are several options, one of which is to take the M5
to junction 11A and then the A419 to Cirencester. Once at
Cirencester, take the A433 Tetbury Road. Follow the A433 towards
Tetbury. You will pass under a narrow railway bridge (please
take care - this is an accident hotspot), and past The Thames
Head pub, on the right. Approximately 1/2 mile further on
you will approach a right hand bend with a small country road
turning off to the left (signposted Kemble Airport). Turn
into this road and drive to the very end (chain-link fencing
directly in front of you) and you will see the entrance gate
to the airport on your right. The large metal gates will be
closed. Please drive up close to the gate whereby the security
camera will record you car details and open the gates automatically.
Follow the directions From the Airport North Gate
below.
From the Airport North Gate
Once through this gate, follow the road and black signs to
Control Tower (yellow building) and AV8 Restaurant, which
will be visible on your left-hand side. Continue past the
first car park on your right and into the AV8/Control Tower
car park ahead of you. There is plenty of parking.
The fly2help
office is in the Control Tower. As you enter the Tower, please
pass through the entrance hall, through the second door ahead
of you and turn left at the bottom of the stairs. Our office
is on your left.
We look forward to meeting you!
