They did it! - Our Congratulations &
Thanks to Smithy and Clare!
Our
intrepid supporters completed their trek on the Machame Route,
Mt Kilimanjaro - the tallest free-standing mountain in the
world - at 7.30am (East African time) on Thursday, 18 February
2010. The funds raised on this challenge already stand at
over £2,500!! Well done both and thank you!

Lions Festive Charity Walk
Thank you to all those who took part in the Knowle &
Dorridge Lions Festive Charity Walk on Monday 28th December
2009, with some of the money raised being donated to fly2help.

New CEO Aims to Take fly2help
to New Heights
Chris Hadlow, a former Royal Air Force Squadron Leader, who
began learning to fly at the age of 10, has taken over at
the fly2help
helm. Chris, who has been involved with the charity since
its formation, replaces founder and Rolls-Royce Chief Test

Kemble Air Show - 20th/21st June 2009 - Another Success!

saw another fantastic event when we were present at the Kemble
Air Show 2009. This year the event was held over two days
and we were lucky enough to have a presence in three locations,
which consisted of our main stand, a small stand in the V.I.P.
enclosure and special thanks must go to the Royal Artillery
who again allowed us the proceeds from their electronic climbing

Jason's Aerobatic Challenge - The Final Total
is Revealed!

were overwhelmed when Jason Phelan presented the charity with
a cheque in the sum of £6904.81 at the Kemble Air Show
on Sunday 21st June 2009. Jason's original target was £5,000
and to have exceeded this by such an amount is truly amazing.

In advance of Jason Phelan's Aerobatic Challenge Weekend,
he hosted a Challenge Roadshow with fly2help
at Kemble Airport on Sat 21st March. Visitors were able to
talk to Jason about the event and find out exactly what he's
let himself in for.
