Kemble Airport Aviation Scholarships 2009
Following the tremendous success of last years scholarships
and the continuing generosity of Airport Owner, Mr Ronan Harvey,

are delighted to be able to offer a second series of aviation
scholarships in partnership with Kemble Airport in 2009.
The scholarships will take place from 6th - 17th
April 2009, and will include
- Introductory flying tuition
- Aviation ground school
- Industrial visits
- Guidance from aviation professionals
- Air traffic control
- Aircraft maintenance
- ...and many more aviation-related activities!
It doesn't matter if you've always wanted to be a pilot,
an air traffic controller or an engineer, the scholarship
programme is designed to give you an introduction to the incredible
spectrum of options offered by the aviation industry.
The scholarships are open to anyone who
- will be aged between 15 and 18 on 1st September 2008,
- lives within the Kemble, Cirencester, Cricklade or Stroud
areas,
- and, most importantly, is passionate about aviation and
interested in pursuing a career in this exciting and dynamic
industry!
The scholarships were first run in 2008 with great success.
Each and every scholar benefited immensely from the programme,
and they all went away with their enthusiasm for aviation
intensified. According to one of last year's scholars, the
scholarships are "a stepping stone to much greater things!"
A wide range of aviation businesses at Kemble and beyond
will be involved in the scholarship programme for next year,
so if you're interested in a career in aviation, whatever
that might be, the Kemble Airport Aviation Scholarships really
are a fantastic first step!
The closing date for Aviation Scholarship
applications is now extended to 15th January 2009.
